Nicole tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 contribuindo para a vis\u00e3o de uma oferta de ELSA espec\u00edfica para o mar.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n\n<p>Nicole DeSantis \u00e9 Conselheira Pol\u00edtica em solu\u00e7\u00f5es baseadas na natureza para o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel no PNUD. Ela trabalha com o Programa Global Natureza para o Desenvolvimento no PNUD h\u00e1 mais de quatro anos. Ela foi coordenadora da Plataforma Global sobre Florestas de Nova Iorque, uma parceria de governos, empresas multinacionais, sociedade civil e povos ind\u00edgenas que lutam para proteger e restaurar as florestas e acabar com o desmatamento at\u00e9 2030. Nicole contribuiu para outras iniciativas do PNUD, incluindo a Iniciativa do Equador e os briefings nacionais Nature for Climate que examinaram solu\u00e7\u00f5es baseadas na natureza atrav\u00e9s do clima, biodiversidade e pol\u00edtica de desenvolvimento.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining UNDP, Nicole coordinated a community resilience and energy storage program for the Massachusetts&#8217; Department of Energy Resources, consulted with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and served as Director of Research and Engagement at the New England Water Innovation Network.
