Jamison Ervin<\/h1>\n\n

Jamison Ervin gerencia a equipe Natureza para o Desenvolvimento do PNUD, com o objetivo de colocar a natureza no centro do desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel. Ela fornece a vis\u00e3o geral do projeto e lideran\u00e7a no projeto de Mapeamento da Natureza para Pessoas e Planeta, incluindo o UN Biodiversity Lab e o mapeamento de \u00c1reas Essenciais de Apoio \u00e0 Vida. Seu objetivo \u00e9 ajudar governos e comunidades a usar dados espaciais para transformar a forma como tomam decis\u00f5es e para colocar a natureza no centro do desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n

Jamison Ervin has worked at the intersection of nature and development since 1990. She currently works at UNDP, focusing on enabling countries to develop a ‘Map of Hope’ for nature-dependent goals that puts nature at the heart of their decision-making. She also focuses on supporting local action around nature-based solutions, including leading UNDP’s Equator Initiative, on supporting governments in identifying nature-based solutions for climate, and on supporting action and ambition around protected areas. Her previous work is with The Nature Conservancy, the World Wildlife Fund for Nature, and the Forest Stewardship Council. She holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont.<\/p>\n
