Jamison Ervin<\/h1>\n\n

Jamison Ervin dirige l'\u00e9quipe Nature for Development du PNUD, dont l'objectif est de placer la nature au c\u0153ur du d\u00e9veloppement durable. Elle assure la vision globale du projet et la direction du projet Cartographier la nature pour les personnes et la plan\u00e8te, y compris le UN Biodiversity Lab et la cartographie des Aires Essentielles au Maintien de la Vie. Son objectif est d'aider les gouvernements et les communaut\u00e9s \u00e0 utiliser les donn\u00e9es spatiales pour transformer leur mode de prise de d\u00e9cision et mettre la nature au c\u0153ur du d\u00e9veloppement durable.<\/p>\n

Jamison Ervin has worked at the intersection of nature and development since 1990. She currently works at UNDP, focusing on enabling countries to develop a ‘Map of Hope’ for nature-dependent goals that puts nature at the heart of their decision-making. She also focuses on supporting local action around nature-based solutions, including leading UNDP’s Equator Initiative, on supporting governments in identifying nature-based solutions for climate, and on supporting action and ambition around protected areas. Her previous work is with The Nature Conservancy, the World Wildlife Fund for Nature, and the Forest Stewardship Council. She holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont.<\/p>\n
