Marion is responsible for the implementation of the project &#8220;Mapping Nature for People and Planet&#8221; in 13 countries, and explores upcoming opportunities to enhance national decision making through the use of scientific data. Working in English, French and Spanish, Marion&#8217;s responsibilities include: identifying and liaising with national counterparts, following the principles of a whole-of-society approach; coordinating efforts and activities with the science and policy teams; organizing and facilitating stakeholder consultations and follow-up activities; leading communication and promotional pieces; supervising logistical and administrative aspects of the project; and continuously exploring new streams of work to sustain and improve project outcomes and products over time. She also supports the development and use of <a href=\"https:\/\/unbiodiversitylab.org\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UN Biodiversity Lab<\/a> by Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Marion is also the coordinator for the GEF-funded Global Biodiversity Framework &#8211; Early Action Support (GBF-EAS) project, ensuring that Parties to the CBD take early action to align their national biodiversity targets on the newly adopted Kunming-Montreal GBF. <\/p>\n<b>Experiencia y conocimientos previos<\/b><br \/>\nMarion lleva seis a\u00f1os trabajando en las Naciones Unidas, incluidos m\u00e1s de cinco a\u00f1os en el PNUD. Anteriormente, Marion fue experta t\u00e9cnica y prest\u00f3 apoyo a 64 pa\u00edses elegibles por el FMAM para elaborar sus sextos informes nacionales de alta calidad, basados en datos y con perspectiva de g\u00e9nero para la CDB. En esta funci\u00f3n, elabor\u00f3 un s\u00f3lido an\u00e1lisis de g\u00e9nero y un curso en l\u00ednea sobre g\u00e9nero y biodiversidad, y apoy\u00f3 ampliamente a las Partes para que aumentaran el uso de datos espaciales con fines de seguimiento y presentaci\u00f3n de informes. Como resultado de este trabajo, el equipo del PNUD se ha convertido en un socio institucional esencial y fiable al que hay que seguir consultando en los proyectos en curso y futuros. Marion tambi\u00e9n trabaj\u00f3 anteriormente con la UNESCO en la India, donde se centr\u00f3 en el nexo entre el clima y la migraci\u00f3n, aportando una perspectiva de g\u00e9nero a las actividades y los an\u00e1lisis relacionados.
