Restoring degraded ecosystems can result in cumulative biodiversity, climate, and livelihood benefits, making people and nature more resilient. This collection explores opportunities to restore ecosystems for the benefit of nature and people.\n\t\n<h2>Acerca de esta colecci\u00f3n de datos<\/h2>\n<p>Las actividades humanas en la Tierra han provocado la degradaci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas naturales: se calcula que s\u00f3lo el 10% de la superficie del planeta permanecer\u00e1 libre del impacto antropog\u00e9nico directo en 2050. Las Naciones Unidas han reconocido la necesidad urgente de invertir los procesos de degradaci\u00f3n generalizada declarando el Decenio de las Naciones Unidas para la Restauraci\u00f3n de los Ecosistemas. El segundo se centra en restaurar las funciones del ecosistema en ecosistemas convertidos, por ejemplo, cambiando las pr\u00e1cticas agr\u00edcolas para restaurar la salud y fertilidad del suelo.
