He is a Forest Engineer (B.Sc.F.E., University of Cordoba, Spain), and holds a Master of Forest Conservation (MFC, University of Toronto, Canada).<\/p>\n<p>Pedro has over 13 years working at the UNCCD secretariat and the Global Mechanism. For the last 7 years as the team lead of the Land Degradation Neutrality Target Setting Programme supporting 131 participating countries. Prior to working at the UNCCD, he worked for the Regional Government of Andalusia (Spain) supporting climate change policies and action plans and the sustainable management and conservation of protected areas.
