This small, coastal country is home to some of the world&#8217;s most iconic species &#8211; the Spectacled Bear, Jaguar, Sloth, Howler Monkey, Puma, and a staggering 20% of the world&#8217;s bird diversity.<\/p>\n<p>Monitoring and combating poor land management practices is critical to protecting Ecuador&#8217;s ecosystems. <\/p>\n\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/dev.unbiodiversitylab.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/animal-big-big-cat-235674.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" \/><\/p>\n\t<h1>Prot\u00e9ger la biodiversit\u00e9 terrestre<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En 2012, le gouvernement \u00e9quatorien a command\u00e9 une \u00e9tude exhaustive sur la biodiversit\u00e9 qui a permis d'identifier 91 types d'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes sur le territoire de l'\u00c9quateur.
